Front-End Developer — Columbia, MO

Luke Manary

I build interfaces, then test whether they work.

Two and a half years into a front-end career spent inside an enterprise CMS, running experiments, and shipping the ones that win. Below: a personal project built start to finish on my own, and a few highlights from the day job.

About

I work at the intersection of building things and measuring them. Most days that means writing semantic HTML, BEM-structured CSS, and vanilla JavaScript inside an enterprise Optimizely CMS, then turning around and designing the A/B test that tells me whether the thing I built actually moved the needle.

I care about accessible, performant front ends as much as I care about the data that comes back from them. Outside of work, that same instinct shows up in Endless Scotty Gallery, a putter-collector tool I designed, built, and shipped entirely on my own.

Problem. Scotty Cameron has released hundreds of putter models over three decades, many in small runs with their own certificates of authenticity, but no central place exists to search or cross-reference them.

Approach. I designed and built a searchable, filterable catalog of Scotty Cameron putter models and their certificate details, using plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, then deployed it independently to GitHub Pages under a custom domain.

Result. A reference tool the collector community actually uses, built, deployed, and maintained solo from idea to production.
